Helping the Survival of Commerce
↓ Read our success storyThe KREO EN TI initiative is a web platform through which BBK aims to support the survival of small businesses in Vizcaya.
↗ Visit WebsiteDue to the total lockdown situation caused by the COVID-19 crisis, this platform offers a series of vouchers for sale, which the public can purchase and redeem once the establishments are able to reopen.
BBK includes a financial contribution in these vouchers, so the user receives a greater value to redeem than the amount they contribute.
Local Bizkaia businesses participate in the platform, allowing users to purchase vouchers to redeem at their businesses once they can reopen.
This way, businesses receive the necessary injection of liquidity to cover their expenses during this time and, thus, be able to reopen their doors once this situation passes.
This initiative was later replicated in the Culture and Entertainment sector.
Swift action was necessary, so the e-commerce site was launched in record time, with the intention of serving not only the end user but also making the registration process for businesses easy, efficient, and helpful for them.
Alongside the website, a strong communication strategy was vital to reach both businesses and future voucher buyers almost simultaneously.
Several pillars were defined to pivot the promotion of this solidarity project. BBK’s communicative strength needed to be supported by a robust content strategy, defined in an ad hoc Social Media plan, complemented by an influencer strategy (the businesses themselves).
In this regard, a Social Media Pack was created, a proprietary product that offers influencers a set of specific content and creatives already prepared for publication.
In just a few days, the brand recognition index of KREO EN TI was far exceeding all expectations.
Thus, this project set a precedent for many others that subsequently aim to help overcome the enormous economic downturn caused by this pandemic.
